Commenting on his journey Zamma says,

“When I was 7 my father passed away and he was a film director in the late 80’s. The films later he directed got us into debts and we were on roads and we started from scratches. My mother raised 3 kids without being educated women.”

Zamma adds,

“I started working when I was 14 years old, on whatever jobs I could get be it selling of sim cards or being tape runner. When I turned 17 I made false age proof and started working as a hardware and network engineer.”

Zamma also speaks on the industry stating,

“I realized that our industry included more risk and so I was initially did not work in films or TV but I still had that passion somewhere inside my mind. I used to narrate stories at my workplace. My aunt Shagufta Rafiq helped me in doing editing and I worked as an editor for many show later. While I was doing all this I met Zee tv team and they helped me changing my life. I am very thankful to Zee tv and Subhash Chandra sir as they showed interest and faith in me with Ek Maa Jo Lakhon Ke Liye Bani Amma.”

So how did you decide to turn producer with Ek Maa Jo Lakhon Ke Liye Bani Amma?

“I think there can’t be any better subject or platform then this to be a producer . I had an option to either sell this content off without any risk and make money or to jump in and feel the music so I selected the second one. Asif Sheikh my partner helped me with every possible way and made this project what it is today . The production house is called Salt Media LLP.”

Congratulations Farhn!
