The critically acclaimed film Kapoor and Sons is becoming the talk of not only b-town, but also all across the US!
The Karan Johar produced film starring Siddharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt, Fawad Khan, and Rishi Kapoor has grossed over $598,084 in it’s second week in theaters to raise its ten-day total to $1.9 million which surpassed the $1.8 million of Akshay Kumar’s Airlift.
After ten days in North American theaters, Kapoor and Sons also beat out last year’s award winning hit film Piku which grossed $1.8 million over the same number of days.
B-town films routinely drop by 60% or more in the second week, but fantastic raving reviews from critics and fans has led to only a 39% decline in this case.
