Style File: the best of the Golden Globes red carpet!

Awards season officially kicked off Sunday night with the Golden Globes, where the Hollywood Foreign Press Association honored the best in film and television.

Naturally, Hollywood’s A-list swarmed the red carpet in their designer duds and jewels, and a few even managed to hit a fashion bullseye!

Below, we bring you the Best  Dressed from the 2016 Golden Globes!

Jennifer Lopez in Giambattista Valli Haute Couture

Jaws dropped when Jennifer Lopez stepped out in this yellow caped gown by Giambattista Valli, complete with jewelry by Harry Winston and shoes by Jimmy Choo. Jenny is certainly one of the most glamorous stars on any block!

Jennifer Lawrence in Dior

J.Law, who took home a Best Actress award for her performance in Joy, looked statuesque in this red cutout Dior ensemble. The necklace added just the right amount of shimmer!

Lily James in Marchesa

Lily must have learned a thing or two on the set of Cinderella, because she looked like the belle of the ball in this white Marchesa gown! A smokey eye and messy wavs gave the look an edge and saved her from looking too princessy.

Amy Adams in Atelier Versace

Although the Man of Steel star typically opts for a more demure look on the red carpet, this time she went with a tangerine-colored Atelier Versace dress and Neil Lane jewelry. While the gown itself was gorgeous, what made the look was the way it complimented her natural red hair. Amy looked stunning!

Saoirse Ronan in Yves Saint Laurent Couture

This Irish actress, nominated for her performance in Brooklyn, went full-on Grecian goddess in this white Yves Saint Laurent gown. Minimal makeup and Chopard jewelry made Saoirse the picture of fresh, youthful beauty!

Zendaya in Marchesa

Zendaya hit it out of the ballpark in her first appearance on the Golden Globes red carpet, wearing this stunning tiered Marchesa gown.

Jaimie Alexander in Genny

Jaimie presented an award in this stunning green geometric gown, complete with plunging neckline.

Cate Blanchett in Givenchy Haute Couture

This wasn’t an easy look to pull off, but Ms. Blanchett managed it with aplomb! She accessorized with Tiffany & Co. jewelry and a Roger Vivier bag.

Amber Heard in Gucci

Amber looked stunning in this crimson gown with sheer overlay and a textured neckline. A red lip and side-swept hair completed her Old Hollywood look.
