2016 only just begun and it already seems to be a year filled with successful women! Indie Queen Monica Dogra, who is an American singer and actress of Indian origin, made her film debut back in 2011 with Dhobi Ghat. However, she is also a talented musician and is one half of the Mumbai-based electronic rock duo Shaa’ir and Func. As a musician an actress, her rich talent and versatility is not unknown to anybody. She has always given us the best of music with her powerhouse performances! So, it comes as no surprise that she has been signed by Universal Music. Following a year of juggling between movies, music, judging a reality show, and design, performing artist vocalist Monica Dogra added another achievement this new year.
Sharing her excitement to work with Universal Music, Monica told us,
“My association with Universal Music is one that feels like coming home. They are an incredible label that represents music’s finest artists. One of the seniors at Universal Music is Devraj Sanyal, my fellow judge on ‘The Stage’ and I love and trust him implicitly. So yeah, exciting times ahead”.
