In magistrate judge Karen Wells Roby’s recommendation, she found in favor of the plaintiff, Jay Sean. Stating royalties owing for those All or Nothing songs. Also recognizing that Orange Factory has to consider as co-authors on the second set of songs and are own 50 percent of the money those songs collections. Totaling nearly $1.14 million including legal fees.

To become an official ruling, District Court Judge has to follow the magistrate judge’s recommendation. But most recommendations approves.

The amount will be collected by Orange Factory, which is responsible for creating songs for the artist.

This ruling in favor of Jay Sean shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone but it’s worth reporting because of Cash Money’s history. It’s amazing how shady they really are and their nefarious business practices really can’t be highlighted enough.

Well looks like Cash Money is going to be out of ‘Money’ very soon – OUCH!
