Cash Money Records, a brand name in the music industry recently came into the lime light owing to the legal battle involving British Asian singer/songwriter Jay Sean.
According to reports, the company owed the singer over $1.4 million dollars as payment for several songs the artist had recorded for them over a period of time. The legal dispute settled in the state of Louisiana in favor of the artist earning him a well deserved $1.4 million.
Songs in question included Down, Hit The Lights, Do You Remember, Love Like This among others.
The amount will be collected by Orange Factory, which is responsible for creating songs for the artist.
