Swastik Productions Suryaputra Karn is definitely one show which has recently grabbed a lot of eyeballs because of Draupadi’s Chirharan.
Talking about the experience actress Pankhuri Awasthy says,
“I had an amazing time shooting for Chirharan sequence. We all have been shooting day and night these days for the Chirharan sequence. This is a very important and powerful sequence. Draupadi Chirharan is the reason of whole Mahabharata epic.”
Pankhuri Awasthy shares her feelings when she was doing the Chirharan scene
,”As an actor it is a very challenging sequence to understand the agony of a woman who faces humiliation in front of her own family by her own family members and the worst part was no one reaching out for help. Chirharan is a tale of the helplessness, anger, pain, suffering and exploitation.It is all about the cruelty inflicted over a woman to destroy her existence and her freedom. I feel extremely proud and happy that I got a chance to do the role of Draupadi. It is an opportunity that comes to our way once.”
Producer duo Siddharth Kumar Tewary and Rahul Kumar Tewary’s Suryaputra Karn is the most talked about show for its unique content and casting.
Pankhuri has earlier played Razia Sultan for the namesake show on &TV. However, it is Suryaputra Karna which has made her a face to be reckoned with on television.
