The rumor mill is churning once again and this time the target is Bollywood’s first couple Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora Khan.
If rumors are to believe, producer-actor Arbaaz Khan and actor Malaika Arora Khan is heading for a divorce. After 17 glorious years of marriage.
Several media outlets including spotboye.com have said in their reporting. That Malaika has already moved out of their Bandra home and moving into a new apartment. Some say Malaika is involved with a UK based businessman while others blame Arjun Kapoor for the split.
While the media is spreading this rumor like wildfire, readers are eating it up like hotcakes but let’s take a step back as assess the situation here.
A leading daily has reported that Arbaaz and Malaika did not say a word to one another during the filming of Power Couple back in December. Okay, let’s consider the source as being credible but think for a second, which couple does not have a tiff or two? It doesn’t mean that they’re getting a divorce.
Even Malaika Arora’s manager has now confirmed that they are still a much in love couple. In a recent statement, Malaika’s manager stated,
“As far as I know they are very much in love and are not heading for a divorce.”
Yet the press continues to refute the claim. Situations such as these make one wonder, are we really looking forward to such negativity? Has this become our definition of entertainment value.
