. “It’s good to be different..”

The concept behind this new release is a fusion of Raw Desi Punjabi Vocals layered with Old School Bass Tape Style, Beats & Sounds what were highly popular in the late 80’s and early 90’s. Bass Tapes predated CDs, and contained experimental bass-heavy music, think grandfather music to Trap, Glitch and DubStep. The New Single brings both these elements together. It’s a fun track! An accessible alternative to what everyone else is doing in Punjabi music at this time.

“Remember your Boom Box? Remember that bumping car you drove from the 90’s? Man, we’d bump from street to street with 18’s Subs in the back and Bass tapes in the cassette player. Thumping around our neighbourhoods…. Here comes a Punjabi one.. “

I Retro Boom Box & Breaking style video will be launched soon after the initial audio release.
