Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, who is currently touring the a United States for the All-Star Cricket game recently sent out a tweet to British Airway displaying his displeasure due to poor service provided on his flight to Los Angeles.
In response, the airline apologized and went to to ask his full name and address in order to rectify the mistake. Ironically, the airline was unaware that this was an even bigger mistake!
Indian fans are livid over the fact that British Airways did not know Tendulkar and declared social media war on the company.
In 2014, a similar incident concerning Maria Sharpova had cricket fans up in smokes when she claimed she did not know who Sachin was. Well she had an excuse, Britain however, does not! Let’s see how they fix this mistake!
