Mr Amitabh Bachchan graced the special Book launch ‘BREAD BEAUTY REVOLUTION’ of the writings of the late Khwaja Ahmad Abbas, a noted writer and film maker who gave Mr Bachchan his debut break in Saat Hindustani.
The event saw the presence of the co-editors of the book , Syeda Hameed and Iffat Fatima along with Shabana Azmi, Atul Tiwari, Zakia Zaheer, Shri, DP Tripathi, Neelima Azim and more,
The nostalgia event showcased a flashback of the works and life of the late Khwaja Ahmed Abbas and some anecdotes were shared by Amitabh Bachchan on his debut film too!! The book launch saw some lovely ghazals and shayari sessions as well, ending on a sweet note as the old friends and colleagues came together to celebrate the life of K A Abbas (1914-1987), writer, producer, director, journalist and author.
