Rohit Gijare from New Jersey made his way to India earlier this year for Dance India Dance North America! Little did he know he’d be returning home placing second and growing his brand as a performing artist.
Rohit has been on center stage for as long as he can remember and is classically trained in Kathak. He has worked extremely hard throughout his dancing career to reach where he is today. Before he made his Indian reality dance debut TV appearance, he also had the chance to perform at iifa 2014 in Tampa, Florida. He’s performed at the Vishal and Shekhar concert and got the chance to perform as the opening act for Carrie Underwood. And he’s also choreographed and performed for Mystic India.
Now he has placed 2nd at DID North America and is continuing his career by teaching Bollywood Fusion classes in New Jersey.
I had the chance to talk to Rohit about his DID journey and much more!
So what’s the much more?
