Bollywood actress Devshi Khanduri who played a Muslim girl character in Khel Toh Ab Shuru Hoga, is gearing for her new Christian look in Prashant Mishra’s upcoming film Shakal. Her character Tanya is loosely inspired by that of Jessica Alba’s in her hit film, Sin City.
Tanya’s life shapes up after being constantly tortured by the mafia environment in which she was raised.
Commenting on her character Devshi Khanduri said,
“I’m happy to do performance oriented role inthis film, this film character is opposite from Khel Toh Ab Shuru Hoga. Here I’m innocent girl who is forcefully dragged to hell of drugs, exploitation and evil world , her body and soul both get rapped by negative people who have forced her to fall into trap, This is a woman’s fight against evil , how her pain gives her power later on and how she fight against bad people finally this is a journey . Film is based on drugs, mafia. My role is all about her journey her struggle her mental trauma”
It will be interesting to see how Tanya defeats her outer demons!
