How many of you have watched the premiere of Amitabh Bachchan’s new Star Plus show “Aaj Ki Raat Hai Zindagi” last night? If you did then you will understand why there were tears in my eyes just after a few stories were shared. This show is an example of an inspiration, a determination within the local people of India to bring goodness out in others. I believe that is show will show the betterment of India in the future.
The show has been based off of the British Series “Tonight’s the Night” where celebrities are invited and told to present amongst the audience extraordinary stories accomplished by common people. Throughout last night’s episode the most inspiring and heart-felt story was brought by the beautiful Shilpa Shetty. The story was about an incredible man named Mr. Suresh Aggarwal who is known has the Hero for cancer Patients. You maybe asking why he would be called a hero – I mean he didn’t find anything to stop the cause of cancer did he? Well know he actually did something much better than that. Mr. Aggarwal has kept over 800 cancer patients for those you don’t have the money to rent a place in Mumbai. He takes care of the patient and there families as if it was his own. Mr. Suresh has set an example that showing humanitarian and bringing a smile to the small kids and there families is never to late.
The next story was brought by the India’s famous comedian Kapil Sharma about a couple of Mark and Evon D’ Souza who deliver home cooked meals to elderly people. This story reminded me of my Grandmother and Grandfather and how much energy and strength they have to do all of this that i can’t imagine doing when I reach their age.
This new show represents the real hero’s of India, and i think that we should start today to make a difference that will help towards the betterment of India’s future. Bachchan Sir’s show is a prime example of that start don’t you guys agree?
