Shah Rukh Khan starts shooting for Raees!

Shah Rukh Khan just started shooting for Rahul Dholakia’s Raees! King Khan tweeted about the shooting and sent his love to his KKR boys who had their match at the same time. Shah Rukh tweeted,

First day on Raees. Hot but heartening. And KKR starts its match. Go boys….cheering you from the sets.

Although this is the first official day of shooting for Raees, Rahul had actually tweeted earlier in the month about some preliminary shooting that was done for the film. Back on April 10th Rahul tweeted,

28 set ups with 400+ background actors on day 1 ! What a start ! Thank you all ! #Raees

Later on he tweeted about some of the work happening on set and they wrapped up by April 15th. Co-producer Farhan Akthar also tweeted about the Raees shooting beginning. Farhan tweeted an image with the caption,

On another note.. shoot of the attached film has commenced. Exciting times lie ahead. All the best to crew & cast.

 

Raees is a dark movie where Shah Rukh Khan will play an underworld don. The film also features Nawazuddin Siddiqui and the Pakistani actress famous for her role in the show Humsafar, Mahira Khan.
