Konkona Sen Sharma is set to star with Sonakshi Sinha in A. Murugadoss‘ upcoming flick, Akira!
Director A. Murugadoss is known for films like Holiday and Ghajni, recent news reveals that he will be working on a new project featuring Hrithik Roshan. The film, which went on the floors this month, will see Sharma play a heavy-weight in the film and square up to Sinha. Rumor has it the role was offered to Tabu initially. The film also stars film-maker Anurag Kashyap and Amit Sadh. The film is an emotional thriller where we’ll see Sonakshi Sinha and Konkona Sen Sharma perform some lethal action. The film will be focusing on social messages like the safety of women, an issue facing India right now.
