Vivek Oberoi’s younger brother Akshay has an impressive line-up of five films this year! One of them includes Deepika Padukone, Irrfan Khan and Amitabh Bachchan starrer, Piku!
Akshay plays a small role in Piku as Deepika Padukone’s date. Apparently the actress spends the entire date talking about her father (Amitabh Bachchan) and his ailments which ends their relationship before it gets anywhere. Don’t worry though we’ll see more of Akshay very soon! He’ll be romancing Aditi Rao Hydari in Fitoor, an Indian adaptation of Charles Dicken’s Great Expectation. Akshay also has a role in Yeh Lal Rang, a film set in the small town of Haryana dealing with blood theft. Directed by Syed Ahman Afzal, Yeh Lal Rang holds Randeep Hooda in the lead.
