Faran Tahir attends ‘Song Of Lahore’ premiere at Tribeca Film Festival 2015

Pakistani-American Hollywood actor Faran Tahir attended the world premiere of Pakistani Oscar winner Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy’s documentary Song Of Lahore, during the 2015 Tribeca Film Festival held at Regal Battery Park 11 on April 18th, 2015 in New York City.

Faran is busy working on various upcoming projects in film and theater, which are to be revealed soon, but wanted to make a special effort to take out time to support Sharmeen’s work. He later tweeted

“Had the privilege of watching Sharmeen’s new documentary Song of Lahore. Amazing! So proud of her and humbled by her work”

Tahir is a talented actor who has created a place for himself in Hollywood. He is most known for his role as Raza in Marvel’s Iron Man. Tahir also has films like ABCD, The Jungle Book, Picture Perfect, Anywhere But Here, Charlie Wilson’s War, Star Trek and Elysium. He has even guest starred in many shows like Alias, The Practice, Family Law, 7th Heaven, Warehouse 13, NYPD Blue, Lost, Texas Ranger, 24, Monk and the list goes on.
