While other films have come and gone, MSG-The Messenger still shines in over 500 screens all across India. Hakikat Entertainment confirmed that the gross collection was 126 crores by the end of second week. Considering the forces that conspired very hard to stop the movie, added to the fact that major territories like Punjab and Uttarakhand did not allow the movie to be screened, this is a sizable achievement especially when one considers that mainstream Bollywood fare has paled in comparison. Also, where the industry claims losses to the tune of 250 Crores due to the ongoing cricket World Cup, MSG stands tall.
Also, the anti- MSG drug and political mafia worked overtime to distribute pirated CD’s to reduce the number of theatre goers, reveal industry insiders. While it may have significantly dented revenues, but the over activity of the piracy circuit in itself is a proof of the mega success of the movie.
The movie has faced a sustained disinformation campaign from vested interests but who can be a better source of information on the movies’ than the distributors themselves.

The sun has truly pierced the clouds to shine in its amazing brilliance. MSG is a winner who has not only won adulation and appreciation but also triggered change in the way people think. The message of the film has brought hope to millions of despondent lives. That is what matters the most, as Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Insan has maintained throughout.
