Writer, filmmaker and activist, Mahesh Bhatt will be presiding over the second annual conclave for Elevate 2015. Alongside, Bhatt is Garry Lyons, professor, screen writer and director of impact and innovations at the School of Performance and Cultural Industries at Leeds. The conclave will be held on March 5th at The Club in Mumbai.
The event will be marked by panel discussions, followed by felicitations of various network and studio teams, film and television writers, producers and directors, whose projects have made a profound impact on audiences. It is organized by The Third Eye program; a free-on-demand resource center for information on sustainable development, climate change, health, legal and rights issues for filmmakers and creative communities. The panelists include Kamlesh Pandey, Anu Ranjan, Ketan Mehta, Sudhir Mishra, Kalpana Lajmi, Sanjay Tripathi, Deeya Singh, Suhail Tatari, Amit Khanna, Dr. Nikhil Datar Dr. Lata Shenava and Dr. Sanjiv Badhwar.
There will also be discussions about how the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) in India, and other regulatory authorities can look ahead in time and formulate a vision for creative communities thereby empowering audiences.
