Sphere Origins’ who is best known for their show with a social message, Balika Vadhu, has now decided to launch yet another thought provoking show titled Ganga on Zee Network’s latest channel & TV (And TV). Ganga is said to be the story of a child widow who is characterized with an indomitable spirit and will to survive. Determined to live life to its fullest and claiming what she believes is rightfully hers, Ganga’s character represents the free will and determination of the new age India.
Popular actor Hiten Tejwani, who is currently essaying the role of Nitin Joshi in Ekta Kapoor’s Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi will be playing a key role in Ganga as well. As Niranjan Chaturvedi, Hiten Tejwani will be seen as the responsible patriarch of the family. An open minded individual, he will be a friend, confidant and father figure to Ganga played by Ruhana Khanna.
