The sequel to The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, aptly titled, The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel opened at the number one spot in the U.K. box office this past weekend. The film is scheduled to release on March 6th in North America, with special preview shows in select theaters on March 5th.

The comedy-drama film has touched the hearts of audiences worldwide and movie-goers were looking forward to the sequel, so it comes as no surprise that The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel had such a tremendous opening. The film stars Dev Patel, Richard Gere, Judi Dench, Maggie Smith,Tina Desai and more.
