Sonam Kapoor's Medical Report Confirms Swine Flu!

Bollywood is being hit hard due to the swine flu epidemic. After filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Anupama Chopra and their son Agni Chopra another Bollywood celebrity has been affected by the virus.

Sonam Kapoor has been tested positive for swine flu, as confirmed by Dr. Chirag Matravadiya of the Sterling Hospital in Rajkot.

The actress went to the hospital for a blood test to find reason for her recurring fever issues and the respiratory infection she faced earlier this month. Post her visit, her spokesperson reported that this was no reason for concern and that Sonam is healthy enough to resume shooting for her upcoming film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.

However, a microbiology result confirmed the presence of the H1N1 virus in her system following which she was rushed Mumbai via charter plane for further care.

The new year has not been good for Sonam thus far! Here’s wishing her a speedy recovery!
