Filmmaker Vikas Bahl shot to fame last year with his film ‘Queen’, starring Kangana Ranaut, striking the right chords with its audience. So in a recent interview when Vikas was asked about the inspiration behind his film, he said,
“Lucky are those people who get to evaluate or re-evaluate the way they are living life. I’ve been through my days of heartbreaks and professional crisis to get to where I am today emotionally and professionally.”
He further added saying,
“‘Queen” could pretty much be my personal story. And, I must say, it can happen with guys as much as it happens with girls.”
Coming to his next film, ‘Shaandaar’, which features Alia Bhatt along with Shahid Kapoor as the lead pair Vikas says that this movie would be a total entertainer!
“It’s a fun wedding film. I love going to the theatres to have a good time, with lots of samosa and cold drinks. ‘Shaandaar’ is that kind of movie”.
Well, we sure hope ‘Shaandaar’ turns out to be a shaandaar at the theatres and the box office too.
