The New England and Mid Atlantic region of the United States of America has been buried in snow! We’ve been on Blizzard watch and there was even a ban in some states for people to go out after 11pm on Monday, January 26th.
So for all of our American readers that are stuck in Snowmageddon (like our New York and Connecticut team) here’s our list of winter jams to pass these snowy days!
1. We’ve got to start with an oldie, check out “Yahoo! Chaho Koi Mujhe Junglee Kahe” featuring the handsome Shammi Kapoor and the lovely Saira Banu!

2. Next we’ve got this romantic track from the movie Roja which released in 1992. Watch out the video for “Yeh Haseen Vaadiyan” featuring actors Madhoo and Arvind Swamy.
3. Remember that time Shah Rukh Khan was a villain? Yeah, those were dark times. BUT we’ve got a winter track out of that era! Check out “Tu Mere Samne” from Darr featuring Juhi Chawla and Shah Rukh Khan.
4. How could we not reference the classic Bollywood flick Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, even US President, Barack Obama showed off his Bollywood skills by referencing the film in his speech during his trip to India. DDLJ’s “Zara Sa Jhoom Loon” is the perfect track for a little fun!
5. Mohabbatein’s music was quite popular when the film released in 2000. Featuring a cast of newbies this teenaged romance narrated by Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwariya Rai Bachchan, is a full of love. Check out “Humko Humise Churalo!”

6. Amir Khan and Kajol have some laughs in the snow with this track from Fanaa. With it’s tongue-twisting lyrics “Chanda Chumke” is a hit with the kids for sure!
7. Fanaa has more than one snowy track, so for all the lovely couples out there we’d like to throw in “Mere Haath Mein” on our list as well. This soulful song is so beautifully written we couldn’t help it!

8. For a new track we’ve got the sweet and beautiful track “Subhanallah” from the hit film Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. The lovely song features the lead couple, Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor as they trek up a snowy mountain.
