Bang Bhang is a whole sound based around SonnyJi’s style of DJ’ing which involves looping, cutting and filtering patently eastern sounds such as Indian strings, the percussive elements of Bhangra and merging it together with Funky, Deep and Underground House music. The sound spreads it’s wings for the first time at this brand new club night which launches in the heart of Birmingham’s Digbeth area on May 17th.

“I’ve been meaning to do a night like this for the last few years. A night that only based itself around House music and Desi dance beats. I have been aware that there has not been anything alternative available when it comes to UK asian music these last few years so here we are!”.
This is the the first night of it’s kind and we welcome you to experience something that will lift, move and stir your soul. If you have a love for House music, the Ibiza vibe, the percussive elements of eastern sounds coming together with dance music then this night will be for you.
Joining SonnyJi on the night will be new DJ and producer ‘They Call Me Jack’ who will be bringing his own unique style of bass heavy dance music and south asian remixes, as well as live saxophone on the night from ‘saXingh’.
