Pop singer Sagarika Deb was honored and awarded in the Indian Women Role Model Awards 2014, held in Delhi. She was felicitated with a certificate and trophy for her outstanding contributions to society through her online musical collaborations worldwide. 39 other women role models were also honored and felicitated with trophies and certificates for their outstanding contribution towards building the nation.
The Indian Women Role Model Awards 2014 was organized by Delhi Vaibhav Newspaper, Vaastu Mandir Sewa Trust, Navdrishti Magazine, Pankaj Diamonds Pvt Ltd., Muskaan Memorial Trust and with numerous other sponsors in Delhi, at Le Pacific, Panjabi Bagh.
Many prominent figures in politics, fashion, arts and culture were also in attendance to honor the achievers. Attendees included: National spokesperson of BJP and Supreme Court of India lawyer, Meenakshi Lekhi; social worker Rashi Mahajan; Pankaj Varma; Dr. Rupa Batra; social worker Arpita Bansal; and many more.
Sagrika says,

However, the feeling of being honored as a role model for the society throughout India is unbelievable.
