Lekar Hum Deewana Dil gives you 'Khalifa'

The movie hasn’t even released and it has been making major buzz and of coarse it’s not a surprise as the master himself compsted the song – A.R Rahman and it’s a great tune! lluminati Films & Eros International presents ‘Lekar Hum Deewana Dil’ – A Maddock Films production. The film is directed by Arif Ali Introducing Armaan and Deeksha. The film is produced by Dinesh Vijan, Saif Ali Khan & co-produced by Sunil Lulla. The music is composed by A. R. Rahman.

“‘Khalifa’ being the first and main song of the film.. and had to be catchy… we were in search of a perfect phrase or a word and that is when I came up with the word ‘Khalifa’ it means being a leader, it was a perfect thought which fell in place,” Amitabh said

Today the film launched it’s first ever track ‘Khalifa’ which is an upbeat track that makes you want to get up and dance and jump up in the air! Check out the track and tell us what you think!

Khalifa, being the first and the main song, is a very catchy number. The song ‎has been shot in various hangout spots in Mumbai capturing a group of youngsters painting the town red and representing the daredevil attitude of today’s youth. It has been written and composed in the span of just one night, and the producers are delighted to have the composition under their banner. The song manages to capture the state of mind of today’s generation.

“I really enjoyed working with Arif Ali (director), Dinoo (producer Dinesh Vijan) and Amitabh (lyricist Amitabh Bhattacharya). ‘Khalifa’ (song) is a result of our jam session we had before making the soundtrack of the film. Hope people embrace it and support this effort,” Rahman said in a statement here.
