Hawaa Hawaai flies during the weekend, grows 250 per cent from Friday to Sunday!

Who doesn’t love a cute kids movie? We all do! Especially when it comes to making dreams come true! Biggest opening for a non star cast children’s film beating the likes of Chillar Party and Stanley Ka Dabba has made major buzz!

Hawaa Hawaai, presented by FoxStar Studios and directed by Amole Gupte, opened to a phenomenal 4.25 crore weekend. The acclaimed movie opened on Friday to 80Lakhs. Buoyed by a very strong positive word of mouth, this wholesome family entertainer saw it’s collection jump to 1.50 cr on Saturday and collected 1.95cr on Sunday. The growth from Friday to Sunday was almost 250%

 

Interestingly Hawaa Hawaai beat Amole’s last film Stanley ka Dabba’s weekend collection by three times. In the non star cast driven children films category, Hawaa Hawaai has seen the highest opening so far compared to other films in this category like Stanley ka Dabba and Chillar Party. Considering the film is about kids and it was mothers days weekend – we aren’t surprise that it turned out so great!

Hawaa Hawaa is Amole Gupte’s second film as a director and third as a writer after Taare Zameen Par and Stanley Ka Dabba. And stars Partho Gupte and Saqib Saleem.
