Asim spent most of his childhood as any other kid, immersed in sports, school, and hanging with friends. Hailing from a musical family, his natural appreciation for music, poetry, and art was never anything he thought to pursue as a career. After seeing a performance at a friend’s event, which another friend had recorded, Asim began to truly understand his passion for music and the rest is, as they say, history. Growing up in a “mix n’ matched” culture as Asim would say, has helped him in creating a natural blend of western sounds with eastern influences. Inspired by Artists on both side of the hemisphere from Nustrat Fateh Ali Khan to Justin Timberlake and Bruno Mars, Asim’s artistic development is well beyond his 16 years.
