The love that Sahil feels later turns out to be a betrayal for him and then things turn out as a revenge factor for both Sahil and Mittee. His picture-perfect and flawless love turns out to be the biggest nightmare for him.
The film starts with the romantic story and as the story moves ahead, you can feel the suspense building up.
You are hooked up to the screen, anxiously waiting for what will happen next and trust us, you will be surprised as the film progresses.
The first half of the film is about Sahil who gets heartbroken by his lover Mittee and how his image gets tarnished in front of everyone and later is sent to the mental asylum.
While the second half will talk you to another part of the story where Sahil is no more weak and is ready to take his revenge. To know what Mittee does to Sahil and how Sahil takes the revenge, one should watch this loving suspense drama.
Cherag Ruparel as a director has done a wonderful job when it comes to the screenplay and portraying each and every character. He has successfully shown emotions. Right from the start of the film, every scene has been perfectly shot. There are many surprise factors in the film – such as a double role, which reminds us of the Don. The dialogues of the film are well written, sticking to the theme of the film.
The cinematography is on point. There is one scene in the film which will remind you of the late actor Amrish Puri. In the scene, Vardhan Puri feeds the pigeons and it takes us back to the iconic scene of DDLJ and reminds us of his great grandfather.
Talking about the performances, Vardhan Puri has done a fantastic job. His screen presence is magical and will surely be loved by the fans. While on the other hand, Shivaleeka Oberoi has totally done justice to her kick-ass character All the other characters of the film have performed well.
You can enjoy your weekend with this film. With all our hearts we give Yeh Saali Aashiqui 3 1/2 stars.
