Student Of The Year 2 Review
Student Of The Year 2

The second installment of Student Of The Year 2 is here. The film starring Tiger Shroff, Tara Sutaria, Ananya Panday and Aditya Seal revolves around the lives of the four lead actors, their trial, relationship and dreams.

The film, directed by Punit Malhotra and written by Arshad Sayed, suffers from a weak and predictable script. It has the same feels and plot line to that of other Dharma movies.

Tiger Shroff is good when it comes to dancing and action but a little less in terms of acting. Ananya does a good job as the rich and spoilt Shreya. Aditya is good, doing decent as the anti-hero who has ego issues. Tara could do much better – not her fault though.

The on and off one liners are good and will make you chuckle. But a few dialogues are repeated more than a couple of times — that you get bored hearing it after the third time. Rohan’s (Tiger) friends lighten up your mood with their comedy.

The songs are well placed and the choreography is beautiful — kudos to the choreographers. The highlight of this movie — like other Dharma movies — is the costumes. Manish Malhotra has provided all the students, especially Ananya and Tara, with a wardrobe we would all love to have.

We give these students 2 stars in their examination. ⭐⭐

These students could have fared better with a better script.
