The film, starring Pankaj Tripathi and Sanjana Sanghi in main roles, is too drawn out to intrigue viewers with the mysterious storyline.

Tripathi plays the role of A.K Srivastava, also called Kadak Singh by his children for being too strict, and he is in the hospital with retrograde amnesia. Sanjana Sanghi plays his daughter, Sakshi, who is narrating his life story to him in an attempt to get him to remember his family and how he ended up in the hospital.

The script of the film, although an interesting storyline, drags out the main premise of the film, and essentially makes it easy for the viewer to skip through parts of the movie. Tripathi gives an amazing performance as A.K Srivastava, and portrays a character he doesn’t normally do: one with anger and trust issues. Even in that character trope, Tripathi brings his comedic flare and timing with micro-expressions and tonal changes.

Sanjana Sanghi dominates screen time in the film, and does a good job of showing the stress that falls on Sakshi as an older sister and main caregiver in the family. She phenomenally portrays the anger Sakshi feels when she bursts out at Tripathi’s character for being a bad father, while also showing the calm and demure nature to Sakshi’s character in the hospital.
