Junglee is a story that revolves around a veteran Raj (Vidyut Jammwal) who comes to his hometown to meet his dad. Raj’s dad is the owner of an elephant sanctuary. In the meanwhile, Raj encounters an international poachers racket and fights with them for animal rights.
Chuck Russell has given some beautiful views of the forest and the beautiful Elephants but lacks his part of the game when it comes to the major parts of the direction. The storyline of the movie is weak for the audience to get connected to the emotions that the makers wants to display. The dialogues don’t seem like a treat to the ears either.
The good part about the movie was Vidyut Jammwal’s presence on the screen. He did his part so well that you’ll fall in love with him. The other two actresses Pooja Sawant and Asha Bhatt were good with their performances. Makarand Deshpande and Atul Kulkarni should be given more screen timing knowing the fact that how good performers they are.
The songs in the movie do not leave any impact. It is just the background score of the film, which is amazing.
In short, Junglee is a golden opportunity that is completely wasted. This could’ve found a connection with everyone given it had a better script.
