Vishal, a young assistant civil engineer from Mumbai is thrown into a challenging situation by his boss.
He has to cover up for a horrific accident of a labourer that has taken place at their construction site.
With the victim’s future dangling between life and death. Vishal struggles to find his way out of this crisis, amongst the local police, journalists, doctors, and union leaders.
As time passes, the situation only gets more critical for Vishal as his morals and job responsibilities begin to go against each other.
It is worth to watch the short film to know which side will he choose? Or will the truth prevail?
Set in a ‘Manor’, a small village in Maharashtra, ‘Dafan’ is a powerful coming of age story about class divide, labour issues, truth and humanity. Dafan released on 11th Dec 2020.
