Shreya Gupto, who recently appeared alongside Salman Khan in the movie Sikandar, praised the actor for his generosity and kindness during a recent interview. She shared a memorable experience from the film’s shoot, revealing that in one scene, Salman’s character had to buy gifts for several children. True to his character, Salman took all the kids to a mall and personally selected the gifts for them. Shreya admired how Salman’s stardom is well-deserved, attributing it to his years of hard work.
While speaking with Bombay Times, Shreya Gupto said, “Let me tell you a fun story. There was a scene where Salman Khan’s character, Sikandar, had to buy things for many kids in the film. And he actually bought them. He took all the kids to the mall and personally purchased everything. That day, I truly realized how generous and kind he is-giving comes naturally to him.” She further added that many people in his team have been working with Salman for decades, which speaks volumes about the kind of a person he is.
“His stardom is absolutely justified-it’s the result of years of relentless hard work. People assume stars have it easy, but in reality, it takes dedication and consistency to sustain that level of success,” she said.
In Sikandar, Shreya plays the role of a medical intern, contributing significantly to the storyline. When asked if she had a chance to interact with Salman off-camera, she mentioned that they didn’t have any private conversations on set. “If I had pushed myself to talk to him, I’m sure he would have been welcoming. But security was tight on set, and we weren’t allowed to bring our phones since the makers were strict about preventing any behind-the-scenes footage from leaking,” she replied.
