Jason Tham, hits jackpot with film Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi!
Jason Tham has hit the jackpot with his film Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi. He has become a huge fan of Mudassar Aziz’s directorial tactics. Working with Mudassar sir has just opened my eyes wide for Indian cinema, he is someone who has so much talent that anyone could only wish to be him. Mudassar sir is multi-talented as he is not only a director but also a writer, lyricist, dubbing artist, rapper, and chef. He’s an allrounder. The first day when I met him he was very clear that I will play Chang even though I had no films in my kitty. That was a huge risk he was willing to take. My initial scenes in the film were with Sonakshi Sinha, Jimmy Shergil, and Piyush Mishra. I was nervous but I was able to improve through workshops.
The story behind Makaju!
The origin of “Makaju” happened when I asked him how would I address my goons when I am aggressive. He thought for a while and came up “Makaju”. It was his sense of humour that led to one of the biggest highlights of the film.
Mudassar Aziz has guided me every step of the way
Jason adds “He guided me in every step of the film. Since, writing is his forte he had the luxury of modifying the dialogues for the betterment of the film. He is not only famous for his work but is immensely loved by the whole cast and crew. I will always remember his greatest advice: All perfect shots are made by imperfect takes.”
