Dixi Patel is a singer-songwriter, dancer, and doctor; and now’s she’s officially in the UK’s top 5 charts as well with her new debut single, “Need Nobody” featuring Raxstar and music produced by Shayal.

Dixi has been singing ever since she was little, starting off with hymns at her local temple. She taught herself to play piano at six-year-old, and her passion for music and singing continued to blossom as she entered college and joined Texas A&M University’s South Asian acapella group, Swaram. After college, Dixi became the lead female vocalist for Atlanta based band, JashnATL. She was also awarded Best Female Vocalist for Gathe Raho and subsequently opened for her idol, Shreya Goshal in 2012.

Not just a pretty face with a stunning voice, this New York-based beauty is also a pediatric resident physician at the SUNY Downstate Medical Center.

Dixi recently performed her new single life at Urban Desi Nights in NYC and the crowd went wild! From the catchy beats to the lyrics, this song is bound to get stuck in your head and make you dance your heart out!
