Jyotica Tangri has a special place for her mother in her life and that’s evident as she keeps posting pictures with her on social media to express her love. The mother-daughter duo took it to another level by making a song that is deeply rooted in their faith. This is the first time her mother has written a song for her and she feels that it is very special. The song is released on the holy occasion of Mahashivratri and fans are already using it to celebrate the occasion.
The Surmedani singer spoke about her latest song and said, “This song is called ‘Mere Bhole Shankar’ and it is my mom’s debut as a writer, she surprised me one day with this song that she sent me on WhatsApp. She said to make something like this, dedicating a song to Shiva, I felt so proud of her”. Jyotica takes immense pride in letting her fans know that her mother stays active and participates in her life’s events whenever she has the opportunity. She said, “She recently got retired from her 23 years long school job, and this is how she is utilizing her free time, my mother is clearly unstoppable, she inspired me to work on the song, I did the recording and the basic production of the song”.
She further spoke about the song and shared that it is a youthful song with lots of beats in it. It was earlier titled ‘Shankar Shankar’ but then changed to “Mere Bhole Shankar” to give it more meaning. She said, “The sound came out to be very hippie, I sent it to my music programmer friend ‘Jitul Boro’ and he killed it with his beats, We are super excited to release the track on Mahashivratri, and see everyone vibing on my mother’s song”. The song is released on JT Music which is the in-house label of Jyotica.
