UK Punjabi artist, Roma Sagar, is back again with her brand-new single, “Be My Lover,” under the Zee Music Company label. Roma is able to sing in Punjabi, Hindi, and English. Keeping in line with her fusion style, she has combined both Punjabi and English in this cool love song. This urban fusion style Punjabi love song is set to release worldwide Thursday 14 September 2017! “Be My Lover” is produced by Ramji Gulati and the lyrics have been penned by Bollywood Lyricist Kuwar Juneja. Roma tells us that this was the perfect team for the vibe of the song, as she wanted a modern sounding love song that has a Bollywood feel.
Born and bred in South-East London, Roma Sagar is a talented name in the British-Asian music industry. Her debut single ‘Tere Bin (I just Want)’ ft. Rishi Rich launched her career in 2014. Since then, all her singles have been topping the charts. Although she is a fairly new artist, in such a short time, she has had the experience of working with the finest in the music industry (Rishi-Rich, Desi Crew, Kuwar Virk). Her last single ‘Rooftop’ hit a million views on YouTube in 1 week and was in the Top Ten trending videos on YouTube India.
Roma’s versatility as a singer and performer has captured media attention worldwide. In 2016, she was acknowledged as The Best Female Singer at the UK Bhangra Awards. She recently also toured the U.K for the summer mela festivals, performing in front of crowds of 70,000 people.
