Talented music making duo Gaurav Kapur and Roshan Singh Landa aka OMG Music are back with their second release ‘Chak De Dholia’. With their own individual skills the boys combine to make an explosive duo! To compliment Gaurav’s music production skills, Roshan brings the theory and composition behind the music adding the depth and understanding to each beat. ‘Chak De Dholia’ is a part instrumental track with some traditional vocal parts. The track was actually originally bespoke composed for a client for a wedding entrance. Tried and tested at so many events the haunting flute, vibrant percussion and bright sarangi sound sparks a excitement into any room making this such a feel good track. The sound is very Bolly-Bhangra something you may expect to hear in a Bollywood movie wedding scene.
Born and raised in the North East of England, the Geordie duo have had a musical passion from their early years with both playing instruments since the tender age of 5 and 6 years old! With support from their families all of whom don’t have a musical history, both boys followed their passions through to eventually qualifying from university with 3 credible music degrees between them in music technology, creative technology in music and performance and contemporary music.
Both boys born and brought in the UK in Punjabi families have had many diverse musical genres influence their unique style. In their music you will hear elements of traditional Punjabi music, Bollywood, Jazz and other contemporary music styles. Without doubt a fresh sound for a true music lover.
Accompanied by live dhol beats or on its own this track is sure to be a massive hit with Djs all over the world!
The duo won’t stop just there… they have another two big releases planned featuring the vocals of Saini Surinder and legendary punjabi singer Late Labh Janjua.
