Nivla Ft. Joell Ortiz & Preme "Retribution" & More

Following with the success of the “Reconsider” single earlier this year, Nivla brings it back to the lyrics and touches back on some very serious topics.

In “Retribution,” Nivla paints a picture of the struggles of the Third World and how Bollywood capitalized off on it. He is lent a hand by Darkside Inc.’s own Prime MIB, who rocks a reggae style on the chorus and raps on the second verse. Preme comes off strong and becomes the voice of all the real dudes who got caught up trying to feed their families and survive. Putting the nail in the coffin is none other than Slaughterhouse/Shady Records’ own Joell Ortiz. Joell speaks on behalf of the ghetto youth and encourages them to push forward and pursue their dreams no matter what their surroundings may be . The track is produced by The DeadBeatz.

In “Life I Bleed,” Nivla touches on the economy and shows the harsh reality of things that are going on today and things average Americans are going through to survive. The video is the dramatization of one particular father’s desperate struggle just trying to get by and make it. The video was shot and directed by the JN Group and the song is produced by Exile.
