T-Pain is one of the most celebrated names in the Hip Hop scene. Born in Tallahassee, Florida, the rappa turnt sanga turned his bedroom into a music studio using a keyboard and a beat machine at the age of 10… after that there was no looking back. In 2005, T-Pain created a lot of buzz with his first single ‘I’m Sprung’. The artist has given to his audiences a whole lot of chartbusters like “Bartender”, “Buy You a Drank”, “Good Life”, “Blame it” & “Low”. He won Grammy Awards for the Best Rap song in 2008 and for the Best R&B song in collaboration with Jamie Foxx in 2010.
The southern soulster has teamed up with top artists such as Akon, Kanye West, T.I., Flo-Rida and Lil Wayne to produce numerous multi-platinum selling hits. Famous for his use of the revolutionary Auto-Tune pitch correction technique, T-Pain has influenced artists such as Snoop Dogg, Lil Wayne and Kanye West. If it’s Hip Hop and R&B – it’s T-Pain!
Vh1 India reached out to New York based South Asian Marketing, PR, Live Event and Entertainment firm Komposit Entertainment to secure T-Pain for this year’s annual Hip Hop Hustle event.
Says T-Pain on his association with ‘Tuborg Vh1 Hip Hop Hustle’, “I am really excited to come to India and meet my fans. I am aware that the Hip Hop culture in the country is really big and am looking forward to play in Mumbai, Pune and Delhi. I would like to thank Vh1 and Tuborg for this opportunity.
