RTW collection launch of luxury couture brand – Mehak Murpana
A homegrown label that takes fusion wear a notch above by effortlessly blending ethnic craft with modern aesthetics. Since its launch in 2015, the label has been an immediate hit with fashion editors and buyers. It is stocked with luxury boutiques all over the world including shop-in-shop retailers in the middle east and the UK. Mehek’s aesthetic encapsulated modern attitudes to dressing — bold color pairings and unexpected fabric combinations rooted in practical, classic silhouettes.
The label has recently launched their SS ’22 collection “NATSU” – a connotation for summer or golden age. The collection is an homage to the Japanese aesthetic of mixing the spectacular and the grounded- all of it with a playful edge. Used vivid prints and textures to maintain a delicate balance between the familiar and the not-so-familiar, yielding a collection that was instantly appealing. The collection takes forward the label’s enduring reputation for eccentricity, using high-waisted co-ords, wide-belted stirrup pants, billowing sleeves, and sculpted dresses and playsuits.

About the brand
As a young girl, Mehak Murpana was drawn to fashion and had a spectacular knack for design. Her love for all things fashion made her career path quite apparent. The fact that Mehakdesigned all her clothes as a child, both western and traditional wear, proved her undying love for the art. She officially ventured into the fashion industry in 2015 and started with a humble team of three at an exhibition; the success of which reassured her aspirations.
She launched her label from her home in Mumbai, and a year after, she established an independent studio in her city. This studio is now home to all her stunning creations. You can book an appointment to explore each collection with the help of our in-store stylists.
