They also come with a host of greatly desirable features for the modern woman like spacious interiors, multiple compartments, detachable and adjustable shoulder straps and easy access zippered pockets that make this brilliant new collection a must-have in every woman’s spring/ summer wardrobe.
This new collection from Caprese comprises a wide array of handbags like elegant totes, timeless satchels, sophisticated hobos, smart sling bags, functional laptop bags, and trend-setting backpacks along with awe-inspiring small accessories like chic wallets and clutches. These international high-fashion handbags included in the collection exuded quiet opulence and subdued glamour, while they also came with a host of greatly desirable features for the modern woman.
NACHIKET BARVE’S ULTRA GLAM LOOKS
Inspired by the colorful elements of the Caprese brand, Nachiket Barve’s “Passport Princesses” was aimed at the globe trotting New Age lady who spends ample time jetting around. To keep her in step with international trends, Nachiket’s glam look was aimed at the coming festivities. There was an intelligent mix of coordinated separates, which were designed for events on the international calendar.Looking at the lush bamboo groves of the Jardin Majorelle of Marrakesh where the wearer can channel her inner Talitha Getty; the looks were inspired by the languid Moroccan flavors with the sprig of leaves motifs embellished in gold silver and white on the luxurious evening wear.
Surface treatment has been Nachiket’s fortè always and when combined with excellent finish and impeccable quality, the result was a timeless, practical, solution for all occasions.The fabric story revolved around georgette, velvet, silk and tulle in a shade card that had the hot red and black as the prominent hues while white, maroon and blue appeared to create a colourful balance.The show stopping embellishments with fringes as the favoured detailing; appeared in white, silver or gold to highlight the very feminine silhouettes that the jet setting lady will love. The amazing patterns were achieved with hand punched wool felt appliqué.
Eye-catchers were the jade printed poncho with fringed hemline and teamed with ivory palazzos. The floor length robe, black sheer maxi over bodysuit and the 3D embellishments on floor kissing gowns were the highlight of the look.Kaftans were exotic as they glittered on the ramp in long or mini versions. The white palazzo with long robe, jumpsuit with embroidered bodice and shoulder trails, the low crotch pants with one-shoulder red tunic and the maroon velvet one-shoulder kaftan with fringes created the mood of the inspiration perfectly. Ponchos were either short or long at times in tulle. Net capes added to the seductive appeal of the gown as they appeared on the runway.
Lakmé Official Makeup Expert at Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2019, Namrata Soni for the Nachiket Barve show kept the face matte with only a sheer blush on the cheeks to add a pop of colour. The eyes were the centre of attention, a matte blue eyeshadow was used to create an exaggerated cut crease wing. The eyes were defined with a strong brow and heavy mascara. The look was completed with the Lakmé Absolute Matte Revolution Lipstick in the shade Coral Kiss.
