How To Redecorate Your Home With What You Already Own

Would you like to redecorate your home? Want to fill up spaces with unique and creative designs? Are you on a budget? Don’t worry, we got your back!

Urban Asian spoke to an expert brand in the home decor world: Lulu & Georgia, which designs and curates the best and latest in interior design, making it accessible, and keeping you up-to-date on cutting-edge trends in the industry. With the current situation, many of us are looking to make their spaces more livable as we spending more time at home. Below are some tips from Lulu & Georgia on how to redecorate your home with what you already own.

  1. Pull everything off a bookshelf or open shelving and start over from scratch! Bring in objects from other rooms to update the pieces you have to work with. Make sure to give the shelves a good wipe-down while they’re bare!
  1. Instead of donating old books and recycling magazines that have been piling up, use them as layering pieces under a decorative object to add height to a pre-existing vignette.
  1. Remove the labels from old jars or olive oil bottles and grab a sprig of fresh greenery while out on your next walk. Additionally, you can use fresh flowers or herbs from your lovely garden outdoors.
  1. If you’re feeling gutsy, rearrange your whole living room or bedroom! Move your bed to a different wall, put the accent chair on the other side of the sofa, or swap the side of the room the sectional is on.
  1. Go through your kitchen cabinets and see if you can reuse a beautiful low bowl or pitcher as a decorative object in another room.
