Caprese’s Colourful and Vibrant Collection by Jodi Life At Lakme Fashion Week

Caprese, the stylish women’s handbag brand presented the vibrant collection by Jodi Life at Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2017.

Mr. Sudeep Ghose, Senior Vice President, Sales Marketing and Service, Caprese Bags stated:

“Lakmé Fashion Week is the most conducive platform for an association with Caprese brand as it is the leading platform in fashion, just as Caprese brand is the purveyor of international fashion in India. Very proud to announce that today, Caprese brand is showcasing the Autumn/Winter 2017 collection at Lakmé Fashion Week.”

The Caprese brand for stylish women’s handbags is exactly what the name means – something that comes from or is in the style of Capri, an Italian island off the Coast near Naples. The designing of the bags had an international appeal and the variety of options offered by Caprese were ideal for every occasion and colour when a woman wants to add the perfect arm candy to her attire.

From totes, to sling bags, cross body styles, satchels, wallets and hobos, the wide variety of rainbow hues, showcased for the coming season, would fit effortlessly into every stylish woman’s wardrobe.

To match the bags, ‘Jodi Life’ offered women a great fashion line called “Dress Like a Girl”. Designers Gauri Verma and Karina Laungani, creators of ‘Jodi Life’ dreamt up perfect wardrobe options using the local Indian craft techniques, which is their trademark for 100 per cent natural Indian textiles with hand block printing.

With such a feminine title, the clothes matched the inspiration. The look was strong but at times had a certain touch of happy elements that revealed few masculine gender fluid trousers; dresses that sported loads of colour or at other time none at all.

Opening with a white cold-shoulder midi piped in red with detailing, the fun show progressed to cropped blouses with slashed Capri pants. Summer dresses, drop-shoulder checked frocks, striped checked ‘A’ line entry and a railroad multi-striped shirt-dress gave the collection a fashionable vibe.

The tiered dress was a great addition to the wardrobe, while baggy pants with hoodie and a bias cut maxi were a perfect style statement.

It was a fun brand that played with prints and well-constructed separates, since the label’s aim was the concept of Power Dressing for every woman. Here was a range that was utterly sensible, yet filled with great joi-de-vivre to allow the buyers to style the garments into what they would love to wear for every occasion.

The Caprese Autumn/Winter 2017 collection in a rainbow of colours was the perfect accessory for each outfit.

Rhea Chakraborty sashayed down the ramp in a printed back tie-up, bias dress and a striking pink shoulder bag.
