The positive buzz was palpable at the film’s trailer launch which happened, where the atmosphere reflected the growing excitement around Kartik Aaryan’s upcoming Christmas release.
Amid the celebrations, filmmaker Karan Johar showered praise on Kartik Aaryan, calling his dedication to cinema truly exceptional. “Kartik doesn’t just act in a film, he becomes everything for the team,” Karan said, highlighting how the actor seamlessly steps into multiple roles — from lead actor to collaborator and even a supportive producer — to ensure the film reaches its best potential.
Sharing a personal anecdote, Karan added, “I genuinely don’t know when Kartik sleeps. I have missed calls from him at 1am, 2am, 3am, 4am, 5am and 6am. He’s constantly working.” According to the filmmaker, Kartik’s involvement goes far beyond the set, extending into music sessions, editing rooms and even marketing discussions.
What impressed Karan the most was Kartik’s quiet, collaborative approach during the filmmaking process. “He always puts the director first and the film above everything else,” he said, adding that such commitment is rare. Calling Kartik “a kamal ka banda,” Karan concluded that the actor truly deserves the success coming his way, crediting his tireless work ethic and genuine love for cinema.
