The Vancouver Art Gallery is pleased to announce the appointment of Jackie Graham as its new Senior Director of Development. Graham joins the Gallery at a pivotal moment, bringing nearly a decade of local and international leadership experience in arts fundraising and a demonstrated commitment to building sustainable, community-centered support for cultural institutions.

In her most recent role as Chief Development Officer at the Audain Art Museum in Whistler, Graham was instrumental in supporting the Museum’s long-term financial sustainability and contributing to the growth of one of Canada’s largest arts endowment funds. During her tenure, the Audain Art Museum expanded its donor base, secured significant exhibition sponsorships and built multi-year partnerships that will help ensure its continued success.

“Jackie’s proven expertise in strategic fundraising and her ability to inspire deep, meaningful connections with supporters will be invaluable as we navigate this period of transition,” says Eva Respini and Sirish Rao, Interim Co-CEOs of the Vancouver Art Gallery. “At a time when the Gallery is undertaking significant operational realignment to ensure our future sustainability, Jackie’s leadership and extensive experience leading major capital and endowment campaigns, forging long-term partnerships and engaging our communities will help us build the strong philanthropic foundation needed to advance our mission.”

Graham’s appointment comes at a critical moment, as the Gallery implements a series of budget adjustments designed to stabilize operations and protect the institution’s future.

“I am deeply honoured to join the Vancouver Art Gallery,” says Graham. “I believe in the power of art to inspire, connect and transform communities. I look forward to working alongside the talented team and dedicated supporters to build a sustainable and vibrant future for this extraordinary institution.”

Graham holds a Master of Arts in Art Business from Sotheby’s Institute of Art, a Bachelor of Arts in Art History & Management from McGill University and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Calgary. Fluent in French and Italian, she brings a global perspective to her work, as well as a passion for fostering inclusive, engaged communities around the arts.
