Megastar Anil Kapoor took to social media to share a couple of throwback pictures with Anupam Kher on his birthday. The cinema icon sent “abundance of love and warm wishes” to Anupam on his 69th birthday.
Anil also congratulated Anupam for taking up the journey of directing a film, titled ’Tanvi The Great’, after 22 years.
“Your journey into directing after 22 years is a testament to your passion and dedication. With your talent and vision, there’s no doubt that your movie will be a great success, touching hearts and inspiring minds. Here’s to you, to your incredible journey, and to many more beautiful moments ahead,” Anil wrote as the caption of his post.
Earlier this day, Anupam Kher took to his social media account and described his directorial venture as a musical story of passion, courage, innocence and joy. He said that he was working on the film for three years and will start shooting for it from March 8 onwards.
Anil and Anupam’s brotherhood goes long way back. The two also have shared the screen space in several hits such as ‘Lamhe’, ‘Laadla’, ‘Ram Lakhan’, ‘Parinda’ and others.
On the work front, while Anupam announced his directorial venture, Anil was last seen in ‘Fighter’, which is set to premiere on OTT on March 21.
